磁性粒子造影, Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI), 是一種新型非侵入式活體分子造影技術,透過偵測奈米鐵在活體動物內之訊號,可以長時間、非侵入性的追蹤與定量細胞、觀察發炎反應,是一種高靈敏度、極低背景值的3D分子造影。
發炎反應是複雜的病理反應,牽涉到細胞、組織與免疫系統對於外在刺激的反應,牽涉到多種形態的細胞、激素與病原體間的交互反應。利用磁性粒子造影(MPI)以及磁性奈米粒子標示的免疫細胞,如單核球、白血球等,可長時間觀測標定細胞的分布。也可以利用吞噬型免疫細胞的特性,直接注射磁性奈米粒子到生物體內,觀測吞入奈米鐵粒子的免疫細胞如何分布到發炎區域。
在此次討論中,會介紹目前使用磁性粒子造影進行之細胞追蹤、定量、藥物釋放偵測與影像導引溫熱治療(Hyperthermia)之實驗與應用

• 追蹤與定量在活體小動物內的標定細胞,如免疫細胞與癌變細胞
• 利用區域性的無線電波(Localized RF),加熱奈米鐵粒子,進行溫熱治療或是驅動奈米粒子
• 藥物分布追蹤、與影像導引藥物釋放


About our Speakers:




Presenter: Joseph Jiafu M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Jiafu graduated from the Second Military Medical University of China, once worked as a clinical physician. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Tokyo Medical & Dental University of Japan and then worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Tokyo Medical & Dental University of Japan, Japan National Institute of Public Health, MONASH University of Australia and BakerIDI Heart & Diabetes Research Institute of Australia. Dr. Jiafu is highly experienced in applying animal models together with multiple imaging technologies for in vivo experimental research. Dr. Jiafu joined Magnetic Insight as the APAC Imaging Director in Oct 2019.
